Consequential Loss

If an uninsured part fails and damages or breaks an insured part, then we will pay the costs attributed to the repair or replacement of the insured part as per any other claim. Other warranty companies refuse to settle such claims.

This type of failure can result in very large bills. A good example is the failure of an alternator belt which in itself is a service item and therefore not covered. These belts, when they come off, get caught up in the timing belt resulting in damaged pistons and valves in the engine.

As a guide, you need to assume that 10% of the premium you pay goes towards this valuable benefit. So, when comparing alternative cover against Warranty Direct's, make sure you apply an additional 10% to any premium quoted by any other company to give you an accurate comparison.

Our stance on this issue amplifies Warranty Direct's position as industry leaders for customer service and satisfaction.

"I would firstly like to thank you very much for honouring my claim. It must be the first time I've ever had any kind of payment from an insurance company which, it legally did not have to give. I will certainly recommend you to any friend who is looking for a warranty."
